Cool idea! But I don't think that continuing to seek appeasement would result in the USSR launching nukes.. My understanding is that the positioning of nuclear weapons in Cuba was because of the US installing nuclear missiles in Turkey.. So I'd expect a negotiated peace route to result in Krushchev requesting their removal.. Which is essentially what happened anyways but with more brinkmanship in between. Nice - I see that the removal of the missiles from Turkey are included in the correct ending.. though in the game as in real life, it's unclear why all the other posturing was needed..
